Keep expectations low from the start.

Steve: *mmmfghh*?
Frame 4:
2) If you’re fighting for no reason, never ask
if it’s her “time of the month.
”Instead, keep a private record and consult it daily.
Steve: Three sad faces? OH NO IT’S DANGER MONDAY!
Frame 5-6:
3) It’s not what you said, it’s how you said it. Really, try this.
Steve: Hmm, I dislike these curtains...
Girl: You.. HATE ME???
Steve: Hey, that shirt makes you look fat. Also, I made
out with your sister last night! Sowwweees!
Girl: Ooh, flowers!
Frame 7-8:
4) In reality, sometimes you are right and sometimes she is right. But
remember: everyone will be much happier if she is right. Just let it happen.
Girl: ...it's NOT the alternator! I'm telling you, the mechanic put a gypsy
curse on me AND the car! Why won't you take me seriously??
Girl: Are you calling me stupid??
Steve: *Facepalm*
Steve: You’re right, I’ll have a word with him.
Frame 9:
5) If she’s sad, make sure you’re also sad.
The one thing she hates more than being
sad, is when you don’t care that she’s sad.
Girl: I had such a terrible day today!
Steve: Aww! I’m sad too! I hate playing Xbox! Let’s
have a long talk about our feelings instead!
